The LHC

Just hanging out at the LHC, Cern, Geneva

While in Geneva we decided to check out Cern.

The Large Hadron Collider is the world’s largest particle accelerator comprising a 27km loop, 100m under ground (would make for a good running circuit).  It was completed in 2008, and cost around 7.5 billion Euro to build – all in order to find the meaning of the life, the universe, and everything.

Lots more info on the wikipedia article here.
