We’ve been having some gorgeous winter weather recently.
So, we decided to give our skiing attempts a rest, and instead climb one of the local mountains, Ulriken. Something we could do.
We layered up, packed our urban crampons, and headed out. Around two – three hours later we reached the summit, exhausted from stomping through knee deep snow.
After admiring the spectacular views, and enjoying a hot chocolate at the mountain top cafe (served by a cable car), we embarked on an Egmont scree-like slide back to town.
A perfect Sunday.
