Walking home from Norway class last night, we began our ritualistic verbal duet discussing the weather.

“Jesus! It’s cold!”
“No, it’s not. It’s going to get much colder yet.”

“I’m verging on hypothermia!”
“No you’re not.  We’ve had colder mornings in Auckland.”

“Br, br, br, br, br!”
“It’s not that cold!”

“Yes it is, it’s freezing!”
“Not it’s not.”
“Honey, there are icicles on my jacket!”
“Oh, so there are.”

That evening, like clockwork, we had our first snow.

I believe so. Just bought my first one yesterday. Mmm so warm. Although, it is Swedish, so may fail me yet.
