No Drunken Browsing
I’ve become a big fan of online shopping. It’s cheap, convenient, suitably antisocial, and I can do it without needing to leave the couch, having it all delivered to our front door the following day.
Fantastic.

Winter Tramping, Attempt II
Winter tramping in the Waitakeres is fantastic on a non-rainy day. (Which we do occasionally get.)
The weather’s not sweat-bathingly hot, and the narrow roads aren’t teeming with surfies scrambling to get to the beach to impress each other with their boards and ability to glug RTDs.

The Sleep Experiment, La Conclusion

Winter Tramping
Some ground rules for winter tramping:
Tell family/friends where you’re going and what route you’re taking
Check the weather forecast beforehand
Bring sufficient warm clothing and water proof over-gear
Study the map beforehand
Bring a proper map/compass
Don’t veer off the track
